Hello and come on in!!

 Well I decided I would start at the door and just start cleaning and re-arranging things!!

 

  All winter I kept thinking I want to bring that wash tub in and put it in the hallway. It was on my porch. And now I am so glad I did!! I LOVE IT!!

 

 

 This is above the wash tub. It is an old window frame we found on the burn pile of an old house that was empty.

 

 

 When you walk in the door right by it I put a wooden prim chair, and on it I put my very cool doll I got for $2.00 at an estate sale last summer!! She has a vintage baby dress and shoes and socks on!! And then this lady just gave me the vintage horse 1940's toy softie cuz I loved it and it came from her Grandpa's farm. Some of my quilts in a basket next to it. One is a family quilt.

 

 

I have a small collection of blue ball jars. These are my four biggest ones. They are under the chair in a rusty canning basket.

 

 

The other area from the wash tub just a gathering of some of my favorite thrifting and family things. I have about three old clothes pin bags hanging up too. I am moving my way into the kitchen and dining room and then the living room!!

 

We are getting a lot done here around the funky farm. As of last week Sim and Nick fixed our roof that was leaking!! And fixed the problem that we have had for years!! Now they are trading work with each other to fix stuff!! It's so cute and great!! Nick can paint and fix our ceilings and Sim can help dig the post holes for the fence!!

And right in the middle of it on Monday five days before the baby shower I have to have my out patient surgery for my bladder medicine!! LOL That's how things go for me!! So I am getting a butt kicking!! LOL But I love the pressure of having to get all the house done by Sunday!! And then next week I can do the fun stuff for the shower!! I am so excited!!

Some new kidds here at the Funky farmhouse!! A special order that sweet Sue let me go free style on the colors!! I LOVE the way they turned out!! I have one more sheep special order I am working on. And then it's a new CROW doll I have been whipping up!! And also getting the farmhouse ready for that very special shower for new grand girl!! Busy Busy!!

Good Morning Peeps!!



It's that time again when I get my Spring peeps for my coffee. This years color is a sweet pretty green. I don't usually have sugar in my coffee but this is a treat. And fun!!

 

I added some new gigs to the etsy shoppe. Thinkin Spring guys!! Plus these turn out so stinkin cute that I could make them all day long!!

Hey guys I passed those yucky stones! I went for a walk in my backyard on Friday. Decided to take my squirrel out back for a photo shoot!! She's a rock star!!

 

 

And after Sim got home we went out for our Spring walk lookin for cool things. We did find some and YES I fell in the mud!! It was like quick sand!! LOL You should of been there cuz you would of laughed!! Sim said everything in my hands went flying!! I had my junque bagg with me and I had found a camp stool in woods!! LOL I still get a smile when I think of it!! Fun times.

 

So for now I am working on special orders and when I can I need to get some new things I have been working on finished. Plus I have a lot to catch up on around the funky farmhouse!! But that's fun sometimes!!! LOL

Sticks and STONES may break your bones!!! BUT......(and a few other things)

 

 

 KIDNEY STONES WILL HURT YOU!!!!

 

 

So last Thursday I had a doc appt. and she sent me for a cat scan!! And yes I have not one but two kidney stones!! Why leave one out? LOL

I believe they are starting to move and I will be getting rid of them soon!! YAY!!

I am on a lot of pain meds and that is helping!! Good news was that I didn't need surgery to break them up!! Yay!!

 

This is a cool old chalkboard Sim and I found on the way home from my cat scan in the garbage along a side street!! Why not stop even if you are in pain!! You find cool things!! The "Relax" sign came from my Secret Sister from church !! Isn't it cool!!

 

 

This is my new swing Sim got for me for my birthday!! We were due for one and he found this one at Lowe's. He knew I would love the colors!! And I do and if you look you can see on the left side there my clothes line pole matches!! I had Sim paint them last year a barn red!! I am diggin it so much!! Excuse the mess of all of my rusty gigs there. Spring has just begun here in Michigan and we are just now getting rid of that blasted nasty sn-irt!! Oh my gosh we walked around the back fence line last night it looks like a battle zone out there from the ice storm back in December!! We have so much to clean up and trees to trim and cut. But what cha gonna do!! Main thing we are all ok and blessed.

 

And here is another gift from Sim. It's a cool basket that someone up cycled. I think I might put linens in it that I use to create with. It has wire around it. Not a very good pic but wanted to show it to you.

 

 

I just wanted to brag a bit!! Kaitlin goes to the University of Connecticut!! How cool is that they have been winning and playing in the final game!! YAY go Huskies!! This is a sticker she got me for Christmas. She got me and her Dad one. She's so sweet! But I really do miss her!!

 

Ok I am showing this to you to make myself make it!! LOL I tried to draw out a pretty sheep cuz it seems to me that all of my stuff turns out cutesy and whimsical which is ok cuz I guess that is my gig. But I had this pretty sheep in my head. Well after I drew it out and cut it out it looked liked a monkey. Brooke has been asking me to make a sock monkey cuz she loves them. But I don't want to!! LOL Anyways I was gonna make it but I was talking to Kaitlin and she said a monkey doesn't live on a farm. She was right I usually try to keep with Funky Farm House style!! LOL In this pic the black is a CROW!!! I have this ideal now going around in my head for a CROW!! So I am making myself make this!! LOL So no monkey but I must finish this CROW!! Kaitlin said I need to try to make a COW!! But the CROW came up in my head first!! LOL
