Well hello Beautiful Friends!!

The sweetest lady special ordered these lil tomatoes from me!! They are so cute!! I used all scraps for them. They measure 1 inch across. Funny thing I made one for her and one for me I have another set just like it!! I added the lil chick for the photo shoot!!! I digg the little pie pan they are in!!

 

I also had the Funky farmhouse baby shower for my granddaughter coming in July!! Ok my name is Fran. I couldn't find my camera for the whole time of the shower. This is the next day and is the set up I had for the cupcakes and cake. That is a old pull toy I put my glass plates on and some in the front. I used glass snack sets and real silverware except for the plastic forks for the cake.  And yes I found my camera the next morning. They were 36 ladies/kids here. LOL I didn't know half of them cuz we did the two families together. I am the step Mom and Nick's Mom invited her ladies here. Oh my Thank God my BFF was here and my sweet DIL helped also!! And of course I planned to have it outside it got a bit chilly so inside they all came!! Yes I had a panic attack! No kidding!! LOL And that morning when I went out to the barn to get something for the shindig I fell and broke my little toe!! But all is good I have learned to laugh at myself cuz if I didn't I would probably be in the looney bin!! LOL or else my family would be!! They just shake their heads some days!! LOL

 



 Here is another special order I did. This was a special request with her granny's name and year she was born on it. I love these Up cycled sheep and making them!!

 

 

 And here is another Tomato I canned!! LOL This one is Red White Blue. I put it into a Quart jar that has a liberty bell on it and says 1776 on top of it and 1976 below it. I added some old ripped up flags I found at the cemetery I pick them up every year after the long winter. I have some in a blue ball jar and they look so cool. I just can't throw them out. This is so cool I love how it turned out!!

Oh I also found this jar in my neighbors trash!! No kidding I got two boxes of old canning jars in her trash!! I couldn't believe this cool one was also in there. So that is why I went Americana with it!! YAY!! It will be heading to the shoppe soon.

 

 

And here is my lilac bush on Memorial Day I can't ever remember having lilacs on that day!! Usually they are out for Mother's Day!! This was the last day of it looking good. I picked some bouquets and put them in my bedroom and my daughters and the kitchen!! They didn't last long but smelled good!

 

 

This pic is from our church Mother/Daughter Banquet. That is me in the middle. My MIL Marlene behind me and my SIL Carmen in pink her signature color and her DIL Nicole beside me. Nicole is gonna bless us with another baby girl in October!!

 

 I have been a busy bee LOL but I love it.

Whatz Happenin Girlfriends?

 

 

 

We had our Grand Girl come and see us while Mommy went to a Ladies day out up here. Caylee lives about an hour away from us!! So this was so cool!! We took her out to eat. It was so funny she brought a ton of her own toys BUT wanted to play with Grannie Frannie's pigs and lil ladybug. It was so cute!!! I love when kids use their imagination for things. Her Daddy arrived safe n sound down in Africa. And now it is less than a year!! YAY!!! 

 



Here is another "PIGG FARM" special order I finished up. I love the way they all come out with their own personalities. This one is livin in North Carolina!!

 

And this is a special order for one of my Up cycled Sheep " Amelia McKaye Hicks" 1899 is on her way to Wisconsin. I have two more I am workin on!! Which is a good thing cuz the doctor thinks I might have a kidney stone. I had an ultra sound and x-ray of my kidneys yesterday. I find out next week. This could be the pain I have been in except for I also have a bladder infection which is getting better now with the strong antibiotics he put me on!!

 

 This is my sweet n grubby "BILLY GOAT". I just love her. I studied a pic of this sweet goat I made friends with at the Genesee County Fair last summer. I took her outside and got a better picture of her in the sunlight. I named her after my Grandma Berry. As all of my sheep are from the Hicks family I decided to name my other sweet critters in the Berry family LOL.
 



 

Today is my birthday but Sim had to work 2nd shift so on Saturday he took me out to Red Robin for my birthday and for a nice long drive in the country. I had him stop so I could take this pic. It was so pretty and if you look in the first pic you can see a sweet lil chipmunk who let me take his pic while he just kept eating the walnut he had. It's kinda great the snow is melting and the sun has been shining a bit more. Today I took a "ME DAY" and am still in my PJ's and just doing nothing much. Trying to feel better and take care of myself but longing to get going on house work cuz yard work will be here soon!! Like real soon!! LOL

 

I am enjoying working on special orders. I now have over 600 likes on my facebook page and as soon as I hit 100 sales in my Etsy Shoppe I am gonna have a giveaway here on my blog. I'll keep ya posted when it comes.

A new Farm Animal and "NESTING"!!

Meet "ROXIE LOU HICKS". Oh how I am digging making these little beauties!! This one is named after my grand baby sorta the Roxie comes from her middle name Roxanne and the Lou is from my Kaitlin's middle name which is Louisa. They will all be from the Hicks family!! LOL I decided not to grunge this one up as the blue was so pretty. But I think I still like the grunge better. Right now I am working on finishing up one of my Prim DOG dolls as I can't wait to use that cute material on it!!

 

I have also been "NESTING"!! I made these pretty nest spoons for my Esty Shoppe. I have been watching the birds return slowly and I found some Downing Woodpecker feathers and added them to the nest. I love their feathers sometimes they look like polka dots on them. Oh how I love nature!! I have been takin little tiny walks outside. I had a cold for about a week it was driving me so darn crazy!! But it is gone now but I am still havin a flare up with my bladder disease. I am praying and praying as what the direction God has for me. I don't want to have a pity party as no one comes to them. AND I LOVE PARTIES!! Just not ones where no comes!! So I am kickin my own butt and trying to listen to HIM!! Hmmm.. as I just typed this the sun perked up!! I did a craft show this weekend and I have come to the realization that I am probably not gonna be able to do them much longer. I am praying for direction as I love to be with people and I love to create and sell what I make.

Meet "DAISEY MAE HICKS"!!!

 

 

Here is my second sweet little sheep I made!! This is "DAISEY MAE HICKS" 1864. All of my sheep belong to the Hicks family. Her sister "AMY ANN HICKS" lives in Kentucky now with a sweet little girl. She is pretty grubby from playing out in the pasture!!! I love making these little cuties!! With Easter coming it is the perfect thyme!!

Yesterday was Valentine's Day and Sim got me these roses!! I was so surprised!! I got some homemade turtles also but we shared them!! LOL I wasn't expecting the roses and that was so cool!!!

After two days of not getting the mail Sim came in with these special Valentine's for me from Blog friends!! I got them right on V-day cuz of that!!! Woo Hoo!! The top one is from Jackie-O from Washington, The middle one is from my altered tag swap I am in monthly and came from Judith in Australia!! and the sweet clown one is from Erica in Minnesota!! I was very blessed and surprised!! I feel so loved!!

 

 

And if that wasn't enough this awesome bunny came too yesterday!! I won Vicky's http://www.etsy.com/shop/paintspotsnsplinters giveaway!! Oh my goodness such beauty!! She smells yummy cuz I also got some candles in the box!! The bunny is prim perfection!! I adore the grubby doily collar. There isn't anything I don't like on her!! I have been calling her Beatrice!! LOL The tag says" Dear Lord Make me mindful of the little things" How cool!!! She has stick arm n legs!! Vicky has these for sale in her etsy shoppe!!

Meet Amy Ann Hicks 1862!!

 

Remember I up cycled her from an old well worn coat lining and a well used baby blanket. I used scraps of material and lace and grubbied her up real nice like. I made her little tag also. She has a cute little bracelet with a bell. I put her on my facebook page and she is already SOLD!! I have already started on new one!! She is gonna be purple.

 

AND this afternoon I got a call from Danny' group home and we are going on a date to Mickey D's tomorrow his favorite place!! I can't wait to see him!! I am super duper exited and pinching myself!!! for everything that is happening!! God is good!! I feel so loved and blessed!! Well I better get busy sewing!! LOL
