Oh My Goodness!!! so much to catch up on!!

 

 Here is alittle tour of my walk I took today. Sim made this hose wreath for me last Fall. I LOVE it and it helps to remind me that I can get out gardening soon!!

 

  I was outside drying a piece of coffee/spice dyed lace when I saw this!! A gift from God!! Even though it is a creeping weed it has beautiful flowers!

 

Ok don't laugh but he is my friend!! And yes I talk to him! I just call him Sweetie Pie. I had surgery again on Friday and I did great!! No aspirating this time!! And boy did they baby me and kiss my butt!! LOL So I have been talking to the animals. My neighbors cats come over too!! Cuz we feed the birds. LOL I have been sleeping a lot due to stronger pain pills but I am weaning myself off them and getting some sewing done.

 

I am finishing up this little cutie!! How do you like the dolie hat on her? It is handmade from some cotton thread I bought at Salvo. The lady who ordered her likes the original one that looked like a dolie. I had a hard time trying to get one like it. So I came up with this!! I like it myself.

 

 



And Sim got these for me from the hospital gift shop. He was so excited that I was ok!! LOL He loves to spoil me!! These are reading glasses and they are perfect for my hand sewing!! I am digging the bubble tear drop earrings too!!

 

 

 And my MIL brought this cupcake over to me!! She said it looked like a Fran. cupcake!! LOL It does doesn't it? (it was delicious too!!)

 

I have been watching a lot of TV and sleeping a lot. Tomorrow I get to go bye bye!! LOL We have errands to run and then I found a church sale that starts tomorrow!! Now it is really getting to be Spring!! Woo Hoo!!!

So glad to be back and also getting my mojo back!! Now I have another three months of doing things and having fun before the next surgery procedure!! At least it will be summer by then!!!

HELLOOOOOOOO BEST BLOGGY FRIENDS!!! I sure miss ya!!

 

 

Hey there bloggy friends! I sure am missing posting on my blog!! But I am having problems with pics!! Kaitlin will be done with finals and exams tomorrow and has promised me she will help me out with my problem!! I can't wait. I have been super duper busy doing craft shows but I am done now!! I am workin my butt off this week to get everything I can done as I am havin surgery on Friday!! I have a new pattern I designed for a really cute snowman and I really hope I get time to go the thrift store cuz I want to do it in pink!! LOL I do that all the time I can just see it in my head!! LOL It took me along time to get the pattern just right too! Laughing at myself as my daughter Brooke calls me Miss Perfect!! I drive her crazy!! LOL So I am praying I'll be back with ya real soon with new pics!!

Been chillin on a Dirt Road!!

Hi there! I've sorta just been chillin with this heat wave going on!!

These are pics of me and Danny and Brooke at our favorite Veterans Park we go to when we spend our time together. I was chillin by the lavender and then I gathered some of the dried that was there. Danny and Brooke were my spotters !! LOL I'm sure no one cared. I am going to put it in to alittle ditty bag I have.

This is what I have been eating alot of!! As many fresh veges as I can get from my garden and sun-dried tomato basil wraps and chicken with Caesar dressing. I just keep the chicken cooked and ready to go in zip locks in the freezer!! And they are so good!!



Kaitlin and I have been making this pie we found on pinterest! It is so yummy and so easy to make!!

One graham cracker crust pre-made pie crust

One package of cool whip 8 ozs.

One can Sweetened Condensed Milk

Any flavor package Kool Aid!!

We used Pink Lemonade

Mix all together with a whisk and then use a spatula to put into the pie crust. Refrigerate until firm!!

That's it!! Does not last to long!! We really like the Pink Lemonade. That is the only kind we have been making so far. I want to try Lime to see if it taste like a Key Lime pie.



And here is the view from my window!! Don't cha just love the beauty of the animals and birds!! I can't believe I 've been having crows coming to eat!! I LOVE crows!! My most favorite bird. There has been 5 of them coming in by my pine trees! And the squirell was so cute down in my lillies eating the seeds the others were dropping. I talk to them all the time!! LOL Must be the heat!!!

Just wanted to share alittle of my corner of the world with you! Hope everyone is staying cool and got to have alittle break today as the weather was alot better!! Now if it would just rain!!! Oh and I live on a dirt road!!! LOL

Sending Love and Prayers and Angels to the people effected by the storms!!

Today as I was watching out my window and praying, this little sparrow kept coming up to the feeder to eat. It reminded me that GOD keeps His eyes on the sparrows and feeds them, so how much more will HE do for us? I have had a heavy heart for the people of the south and been praying alot. So many of you are from the south. I love all of you so much. And I will continue to pray and know God is there for you.

Thought I'd also give you a laugh for the day. I heard this noise outside by the window and when I looked, it was my squirrel! I had my camera and said through the window to him, "Hey baby it's me, your Momma"!! This is how he looked at me!! LOL He is so cute!! And I call him "Cutie-Pie"!!! God's world is so amazing!!!
