 HAPPY HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

We had a quiet night at home. Well the neighbors did light a few fire works! We ate at Arby's for dinner using some cool coupons I had and best part no dishes!! Plus we saved some money. Something I always like to work on. I think I have decided what my word for 2016 is gonna be!! Last night when I watched the ball come down I saw the word "priceless" on a building and it just keeps sticking in my head!! But I have been thinking life is "priceless" people are "priceless" n the gifts God gives us are "priceless" n Love is "priceless".

 

I think like everyone I have been a bit gone from my blogging!! Sometimes the business of life gets in the way n I take the short cuts through social media. I miss the blogs but I also have a problem reading blogs with all the advertisements on them. My computer takes for ever to load up n I get impatient. Ha just realized my time is also "priceless".

 

I have been working on some new things in my etsy shoppe. I started a new section called "JUNQUE YARD RESCUES". Can ya digg it? I just love it and also making the new rescues for it!! Here are just a few. "Peggy" SOLD right away. My dogg "Frankie Ray" is still available.

Up cycled from an old vintage coat and put onto a old rusty spring. I also added a vintage dog license from Michigan and a piece of real rusty chain link.

Peggy is made from an old gas can nozzle with other rusty parts and a quilt piece dress. She's really cool.

It's Graduation time out there!!

 

Slowly but surely getting my groove back!! It's been a long time my friends. Lookin up, movin forward and feelin groovey!! Summer Thyme is here and it so great to have better weather. Been getting dirty in my funky gardens!! Can't wait to take pics!! I am also excited about the parade up town tomorrow!! I have been workin on my parade bike!! No sillies it is for my garden!! That was one of my favorite things to do at the summer parades!!

How Frannie got her Groove back!!

 Hi Kidds!!

I sure have been missing my blog!! I think I just let to many things get to me!! So I will catch you up on the good things I have been doing!! Like this cool special order I got for one of my Vintage dachshund dogs I make from an old vintage coat and up cycled sweaters for the hats!! This lil sweetie turned out so great!! It was ordered from a dear friend for her daughter who has one named "Theo" short for Theodore". Too cute.

Here is just one of the coolest things I have been so proud of lately!! LOL First of all I saw a pin on Pinterest where this lady put her dish soap in an syrup bottle like this. Oh my gosh I was so geeked as I had just picked this big one up at the Consignment store where I take my clothes to sell. I had been watching for it to be marked down!! 50% off baby and I used my money I made!! It came without a lid. Hmmm--- So I put my best Fran thinking cap on. Looked in the drawer none of the plastic pop tops in there worked. AND then it hit me look in the fridge at the salad dressing caps!! YAY I had an old bottle of one dated way back. I took that baby off and it fit perfect!! OMG I was doin the happy dance!! I let Sim know it was not syrup and then my daughter Brooke asked Sim if that was syrup on the counter and Sim told her no your Mom is up to her craziness again. LOL It's dish soap and I am a happy Mama!!

 

 

We have been watchin this lil Beauty Queen a lot on and off between me n her being sick!! We did a fashion show with my old hats. These are just two of my favs. She didn't even try to take the hats off. She kinda had the same expression in all the pics. Poor baby had a tummy ache but was a lil trooper. LOVE IT!!

 

Have made a lot of my famous chili lately. This was part of our Super Bowl celebration. We have also been hittin the Farmers Markets around here on Sat mornins and Thursday. We have been eating a bit more healthy.

 



The other day I was havin such a bad stinkin day after a week of letting things get to me. I cried and said I need to go to my secret garden and get myself right. I know when I sew I am much better mentally. I hadn't even been doing that as of late. So I got my stuff out and whipped up this chick n these eggs I had already made. I had gotten the vintage Eggs tag a while back. I am off for an eye doctor appointment. I need glasses so bad. I can not wait to get new ones. The sun is shining but very cold today. It is gonna be great just to get out!! I might even stop at one of the big stores if I have enough time.

WOW the time has been flyin by on me!! I have been workin real hard on a craft show at my church. ALOT of work. I got it all done packed up on last Sunday from it and then had my surgery on Monday. I had to put myself on sick leave. LOL This chick was exhausted!! I am havin pain but a good excuse to sew. I felt really good about the craft show. Mainly I sold from my Hot Cocoa Bar. I had a lot of fun with that!! Almost sold all out!!

 

I have been spending a lot of time with my sweet lil baby girl Madeline Grace!! Oh my goodness this Grannie is in love!! She is 5 months now!!

 



 

I am gonna re do this lil beauty for Madeline Grace. Making it more child proof and removing the buttons and faux fur. She loves it. Then I got a a-ha moment. Remember a few posts back when I showed all of my vintage coats I had gotten? Well I am gonna make up some more dogs making them child proof with that vintage cool vibe!! I will make other things too but they will match my cool livingroom.

Here is another cool WINTER BIRD BROOCH I made up from vintage coat material. I felt like it needed a nest to sit on. I used some vintage beads from an old broken necklas. This is all vintage and found items. I LOVE LOVE how this turned out!! SO sweet available in my etsy shoppe. And ready to ship.  

A week from today my baby girl Kaitlin will be flyin in from Connecticut!! I CAN NOT WAIT!! She's gonna be home for 9 days I sure wish it was longer!! But at least she'll be here for Christmas!! Lot's of gatherings for everyone as we are all blended families!! I will be off my sick leave on Tuesday and then the rush is on!! LOL Still have shopping and baking to do!!

iT's GoNE!!!

Well we tore down our little funky garden on Monday. This is the last pick of my banana peppers which were very awesome this year.  I got 7 lil bags to freeze from this bunch.  

 

I LOVE using them in my Funky farm House dinners that are so easy to make. I also LOVE using them with onions and fried potatoes. This lil dinner here cost me around $3.00 to make for the whole thing. Gotta digg that.

 

OH MY GOSH I have been watching our sweet Little Madeline Grace. I had her 4 times last week. She loves to look up at this mirror I have with all of the vintage jewelry on it. She is sure getting to this Grannie's heart.

 

This is a new gig for my Etsy Shoppe I threw together. I used a piece of an old cutter quilt and a new little hand sewed bird I added to some moss and a chicken feather I added to finish it off and one of my lil grubby tags that says "Bird Dog". This is an old vintage dog planter.

 

 

This is my new FALL "JUNQUE GIRL". I LOVE LOVE how she turned out!! I SOLD this one before she was even finished. One of my Best Friends bought her from me!! We are going shopping and out to lunch tomorrow and I am using the money I made to have fun with!! and she loves her new Fran. original!!

 

Just been keeping busy and trying to get things done for the changing of the season. One thing about it though Fall is sure beautiful!!!

"Betty Bow Wow", Garden Veges, and I won a Giveaway!!

This is my newest Raggedy Fran Doll "BETTY BOW WOW"!! She was a hoot to make!! She turned out so cool and hip!! I love her!! I just listed her today in my Esty Shoppe (found on my sidebar). She has the cutest and sweet dog face!!!

Last night we had fresh tomatoes and fried zuchhni for dinner along with baked chicken. Always chicken!! LOL I'm sticking to it pretty good, cuz I don't want anymore kidney stones, ever!! My garden has grown quite good and it's always so awesome to have fresh veges. But with the crazy hot weather I'm not getting as much as I'd like to. But I am praising God for what we do get!!

A few weeks ago Karen at http://karensmondaymusings.blogspot.com/ had a giveaway. And guess what!! I won these little beauty!!! I love her!! Karen is the sweetest and talented lady!! I love Karen too!! She is taking online classes and rocks out the coolest jewelry. She also hangs out with other swappers and they have get togethers that are so awesome!! Check out her blog!!

I am so in the mood for Fall just like everyone!! Did alittle cleaning today. I won't let myself get the Fall goodies out til I am organized and cleaned!! It's good incentive!! I actually wore jeans and a t-shirt today!! Yay!!
