What I've been up to!!!!

I have joined in on a few swaps! One is a Nancy Drew Swap! We are to read a book and then send our assigned partners something to do with Nancy Drew and the book you read. I'm almost done with my book and I am so excited to send out my swap! Amy is my partner and she is a doll! She is so upbeat and fun! I also did a Spring swap. I'm waiting to receive mine and then I'll show pictures of what I sent and what  I got. It was alot of fun! I also did an Easter egg swap! Jennifer sent me the coolest stuff and I am just waiting for her to receive hers, and then I'll post about that one too! I am loving the swaps! I just love to get little surprises in the mail! It always seems to brighten up my day! It's such a blessing when you open up the package and see the love and care someone puts in to it! There are alot of special ladies here in blogland! Dreaming!

Well, I've been laying low for the week or so. Trying to take it easy! Becuz I can't wait til I can get outside and ride my bike! and start working in my yard and garden! I am actually starting to do alittle spring cleaning inside. Things that have been needed to be done for a while now! I'm working on making a little desk in my kitchen area. My daughter Kaitlin had oral surgery this week, all four wisdom teeth out! Poor baby she's never had any kind of surgery before! She's been a trooper,even though she's 19, she's my baby girl! I just love Audrey Hepburn! I actually got my husband to watch , Breakfast at Tiffany's with me! What a guy, he suffered through it with me all the way to the end! I had never watched the entire movie before! I loved it! I signed up for a few swaps and am working on them right now also! Kinda excited. I love to get little surprises in the mail and also to be able to pay it forward! The sun has been shining here in Michigan! and I love it! even the weather has been alot warmer! The snow is melting! YAY! Now all my dreams of riding my bike, working in my yard and taking long walks with my husband can start to come true! Have a great one! XO Fran.

This is a Northern Flicker bird. This another view as I was praying one morning. It is an awesome bird,and is in the woodpecker family. It's about 12 inches big. It amazed me as I looked out and saw it! It has alot of yellow under it's belly when it flys! It has dots on it's belly as you can see, and stripes too. I think the red spot on it's neck kinda look likes a heart!  It has been coming back to feed alot! I am so blessed with the little gifts of God out my window. I am recovering from surgery right now and it is so awesome to look out my window. My husband has alot of bird feeding setups for me to watch, as I also spend alot of time in my bed with pain from my bladder disease I have. But God is good and sends these little gifts my way!!! XO

A walk in the park and my Fall swap blessings!!!

Well, it's been a while!! I finally got through this weekends craft show at my church I co-chaired!! Lot's of hard work!! But in the end it paid off! We were all concerned once again with the economy but alot of people showed up and bought!!! I had gift baskets and little items to fill in. No pics this time! Darn it forgot the camera!!! But the above pics are from a couple of weeks ago. My husband and I found a really neat park we hadn't seen before and took a long walk there!! We were actually looking for a bathroom for me!! LOL Like always!!  We were out getting pics of the pretty Michigan fall colors that day!!! The other pics are from the Fall swap Lori had. My partner was Deb(garagesalegal), what a pretty and sweet lady she is! I felt so blessed!! She made me the Fall picture frame, cuz I love crows!! I loved everything she sent me!! and the last picture is from the thank you card she sent me, which she made and it has the image from the Thanksgiving stickers I sent her!!! Her cards are so beautiful!! Deb said she felt like it was Christmas when she got mine!! I just had alot of fun buying for her and felt blessed to pay it forward!! I have missed blogging and reading other blogs too!! But now I will have more time to check out what has beengoing on!! Can you believe Thanksgiving is only two weeks away!! Oh my!! Pictures from the craft show!!!!

Here are a few pictures of what has been keeping me busy!! I love making all these crafts!! Lot's of good therapy!! It does keep you busy though! My friend has an antique shop and she puts most of my stuff there for me! She just loves my Raggedy Fran's in the suitcase. I have sold quite a few of them!! I did do alot better at this show than I thought I would. People are buying handmade and like the little things better. I felt like I had alot of stuff there but looking at these pictures I guess I didn't! Now I'm still making alot more for the big craft show at my church I am co-chairing. Doing lot's of advertising right now. I'll take more pictures of that one. Feels good to blog!! Missed you guys!! XO
