This little piggy is going to Market!!!!

Here she is my newest creation!!! I had to name her "Mud Pie" after I put her out in the sun to grubby up!! She baked real good in our Mich sun!!! She is 6 inches tall when she is sitting. I upcycled her from the same old blanket I have been using for quite a few of my things I've been creating lately!! I took her outside for a photo shoot!!

I will be listing "Mud Pie" in my etsy shoppe www.thebagglady76.etsy .com. I'll be rockin out another one for sure!!

And this is my harvest I got today for our dinner from our garden!! Can ya dig it!! I just loved going outside and pickin the fresh veges!! All of the hard work is starting to pay off!! I put some chicken breast in the oven and we had salad from all of this!! YUMMO!!!
Besides cleaning the house and trying to stay cool this is what I have been doing. We are going to be having a driveway sale this week so I'm gathering things to sell. I'm making a mess in my livingroom and it's driving me crazy!! LOL But hopefully we'll do good.
Peace out, XOXO Love, Fran.

Day Tripping!!! with my sweetie pie!!!!

Grannie Frannie and Caylee

We took a day trip down to Pickney, Mich to see our little sweetie pie Caylee Roxanne!! Oh she is so precious!! They live in a lake community and just up the hill from the lake. Caylee loves the beach, so her and I and Brooke hung out in the water while Papa Sim and her Daddy fished and Momma went to get us ice cream bars. She is so smart for being 2!!! LOL I know we all say that about our own don't we? We were down there for a late Father's Day dinner. Sim and Ryan both had to work on Sunday so this was on Monday. Ryan made the whole dinner for us.

Caylee put her own shoes on!! Don't ya love it!!!

Our little beach babe!!

Thought I'd show you the hose holder Sim upcycled for me!! Don't ya love it!! We had the watering can and had bought the new hose at Home Depot and when we looked at the prices of hose reels we decided we could use something we already had!! Sim came up with the ideal of putting my garden gloves inside and alittle shovel and rake.

Sim also makes these yard art rakes. Aren't they cool? I have two that are very rusty that I love and I have them in the garden beds. He sells these at craft fairs with his birdhouses when he can.

Well I can't believe how fast this week has gone by!! It has been so miserable hot here in Mich the last few days! Poor Sim has Poison Oak and the heat has been bad on him. He actually went to the docter today. I know he's bad when he goes willingly to the docter! LOL Our garden is rocking and rolling!! It keeps us super busy! LOL But the fresh veges will make up for it! I have had pigs on my mind lately and I am whipping up a cute little tiny pig doll. I got the coolest book on how to make little animal dolls from upcycled clothes and all the sewing is by hand! My kind of gig!! I will be sharing soon as I am loving the way it is turning out. I'm also sure I'll be making more of them. LOL
Til then Keep on keepin on!! XOXO Love, Fran.

Roses, Upcycling,and Bluebirds!!!

MY ROSES ARE BLOOMING!!!

This is a very special garden to me! Sim made this in memory of my Mom. Her name was Rose Marie. Sim took a rusty foot board to a bed and made a raised garden bed for them and then bought the angel for me. I couldn't believe it when I saw the beautiful blooms!! This has been only planted for about two weeks!! These roses will get alot bigger and fill in more. For now my soul is filled with love!!

BLUEBIRD OF HAPPINESS!!

Here is my newest Bird Nest I am adding to my Etsy Shoppe! I hand stitched the whole thing! The bluebird sits a atop old grubby chenille I upcycled from an old bedspread!! I used moss and silk faux forget-me-nots with gold and white string of beads for the nest. Her breast is a rusty orange color and her body is blue felt with a little black button from my button jar for the eye!! This is my own design and I love the way it turned out!! Bluebirds were very special to me and my Mom!!

I have been so busy in the garden I haven't had alot of creating thyme!! Torn today as it is raining!! Should I clean the house or create!! LOL If I get busy with it I could do both!! Right? I am thanking God for the rain though!! HE is watering my gardens for me!!!

GOD has made me fruitful in this land of suffering!!

Have a great weekend and God bless you!!!

I love the tootsie rolls!!

And this little cutie is my Great-Nephew Owen!! He is checking out those firetrucks!! Hey maybe he'll be a Fireman someday!!!

I love going to the parades and look forward to it every year!! It was already very hot at 10:00 am today! Sim and I tried to find this 10 acre Flea Market that I heard about in another town but couldn't find it! Oops I forgot to get the name of the road!! Guys will just not ask for directions for anything will they?  LOL

The Bagg Ladies day out and a few other things around the Homestead!!!

On Saturday The Bagg Ladies and I were out doing a craft show at a benefit walk for Williams Syndrome in Davison, MI.

Here they are sitting in my old suitcase. I put them on my swing with my old quilt on it for their photo shoot. I am trying to keep this swing as long as I can and this quilt looks so cool on it. I got this old quilt for $5.00 at a yard sale on half off day!! Love it!!

On Saturday night we had our first fire of the season and made s'mores!! We also got this fire pit at garage sale a few years ago and is one of our favorite things to do!!

On Monday we went to the Greenhouse to get our plants for our new garden!! They have the prettiest gardens there!! These peonies were just gorgeous!!! My Grandma always had peonies and poppies in her garden.

There were so many pretty flowers!!!

This pond was so cool!! The turtle is a fountain and the pond had gold fish in it  and frogs jumping in it!! I could had stayed there all day just taking in Gods beauty.
And here I am goofing around again! Can you tell I was trying to pole dance!! LOL It really was alot of fun just going to the Greenhouse!! Sim can't take me anywhere!! LOL We are planting our garden and when it is finished I will be sharing pics!! We have to make a few more raised beds for it. Sim is working so we are doing alittle bit each night. We are having so much fun. This is our first garden together. It's alot of work but will be worth it.
Love ya, XOXO Fran.
