Here are three very grubby and prim dresses I made. These are probably one of the grubbiest things I have made, or maybe not! The dress part is sleeveless, and I used a linen type fabric. I gruubied it up with coffee and spices and let them dry on clothesline outside in the sun. The little jackets are ragripped and sewn. The sleeves go out straight, because I put a small branch from one of our trees through them like a hanger. I tied a loop on the twig in the same material as the dress. I have alittle tag that says prim dress on it with a little safety pin. These dresses are 18 inches long, and a little close to 17 inches across the sleeves.

Fran- Oh, Sweetie, when you get your etsy shop started you are going to be a HIT!!! So sorry you have to have another surgery, but just think of the time you will have to dream and plan while you recover, dear friend. I LOVED reading your letter and will be writing to you tonight! Oh my goodness, you are such a blessing to me!!! Lori
I want one of those dresses pretty please for my log cabin/primitive bedroom. Yikes, do I have to go to Etsy?
You are having surgery this Friday. I must get that email back to you...
I'm praying for strength for you and courage. Love you Fran. I'm reading everything you write, and I have not forgotten you. Love to you...lots of it.
These fall under the category of "Scrumptious"!
I've seen and felt your work first-hand so I know how much better than must even be in real life.
Let us know when you start Etsying!
I can't believe it's that time of year again for more surgery. God Bless!
Jill
Father bring Fran home safe and sound. I pray for her speedy recovery today!
Fran, I'm thinking of you today (Friday) and praying all the way...
Any dress is fine, but how much? I'm a bit of a tight wad right now...I need to be. Michaels does not pay much more than jelly beans but oh, so fun! Can I pay you in jelly beans? Just kidding!
Those are so cute! Hope your surgery went well. Have been off the grid -- over the edge -- under a rock lately!
Hi Fran! Those are wonderful, I have such a soft spot for primitive crafts. I used to do shows with my sister and all of our stuff was just 'prim ugly' as our kids would say :)
These dresses are so cute and I love the branches for the hangers. I hope you are recovering well from your surgery. Take care, and I can't wait to see more goodies from you as soon as you are well. Theresa xoxo
Hey Fran. Just stopped by to whisper hello. It seems it's been forever since I got to visit. You're dresses are just cotton pickin' cute. (sorry, I couldn't help myself). You've done a great job at grubbing them up. And I love the way you've chosen to photograph them.
Hope this morning brings you a day full of blessings.
Warm hugs...Tracy :)
