I want to show you guys the Halloween Shaker I won from Jill http://www.buckscountyfolkart.blogspot.com/. Her daughter Mary picked my name. There are better pictures on her blog.
She has opened a new etsy shop, http://www.buckscountyfolkart.etsy.com/, where she sells these wooden sewing thread spool ornaments and much more. Jill is self taught and very talented .
I feel so blessed and thankful to all of my blog friends. Such giving and caring talented ladies. Thanksgiving is a time to count your blessings and I count each and every one of you as a part of my blessings this year!
I am working like an elf getting ready to do more craft shows and a couple of Santa workshops at the schools. I will try to post more pictures of them as I do them. I am also trying to get to the cool sales the stores are already having!! I've been using alot of coupons I've gotten in the mail. Kaitlin and I have been doing our grocery shopping using coupons too. Our last trip to Krogers we saved $76.00. It is a great feeling to do it. It takes a little more time but well worth it. I hope you all are getting in on the savings too. But I don't think I will be getting up real early on Black Friday! LOL How about you?
XO Fran.

Hi Fran, Congrats on winning the adorable apron from Amy! I thought I would come over and visit and wish you a Happy Thanksgiving. My husband is originally from Detroit and we live in Georgia.
Sorry to hear about your friend.
Congrats on winning the apron.
Cute little owl candy holders. I'm not getting up early Black Friday either, been there, done that--don't want to do it anymore!!
Have a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Hi Frannie,
So sorry about your friend, but what a wonderful memorial service you had!
Nooooooo! I'm not one of those people who go out on Black Friday. Just the opposite - I stay home and hide! My friend can't sleep all night in anticipation of it. Then she gets up at 3 am...waits at the store at 4 am, where long lines have already formed. Then, she says they all RUN inside, grabbing things. And then she goes to other stores and does just the same thing. Long lines, mayhem, people literally knocking each other over....not for me. I think you'd find me curled up in the fetal position in a corner crying.
Thank for your nice compliment on my blog and Etsy!
Jill
Oh that is so cute, the owl, the yellow colour - it makes me smile!
besos,
ML

Hi Fran...
Isn't Jill just sweet? We call each other Jack and Jill. I also love her off the wall humor. I may have even met her originally from your blog or visa versa.
I'm so sorry about loosing your friend. Oh, the cancer battle is a terrible shame. I pray for a answer and a cure. It has touched so many lives.
We are in the middle of ice and terrible wind and snow storms although it is suppose to warm some tomorrow. Tonight it is only 10 out and I was thankful the roof stayed on the house last night with 65 MPH winds...I hardly slept so I will say goodnight and God be with you my friend.

May your Thanksgiving Day be love filled. The kind of love that only HE can give!
How in the world did you make that out of toilet paper rolls?! DARLING, Fran! You are so creative!! I am so sorry to hear about your friend. It sounds like he was very dear to you and you will see him again in heaven, which can give you a bit of comfort at this time.
I thought of you when we were at the beach.:) We passed a shop called The Bag Lady and I took a picture of the sign! I will send it to you.:)
Please send your address to me when you get a minute, dear friend. I am so bad at getting them into my address book.:( Help! Lori
Fran, didn't you get my email yesterday? I'm writing you here in case you didn't. YES! Thank you for Mary's surprise! She hung it on her little Christmas tree in her bedroom!
That was so very thoughtful of you. You stinker!
Do me a favor and check your email to see if my original message went through.
Thanks again!! What a gift!!!
